Motivation:
1.Doctor label for me on paper: "Obese"
2. Wedding Dress.
I bought my wedding dress in September, and a few months later I couldn't fit into it. I have no choice except to lose weight. The dress wouldn't even zip up. I felt crushed.

Back story:
I've always been an active person. I played volley ball in high school, I've done plenty of obstacle course races, mud runs, etc etc. But for some reason, I am the queen of excuses and I like to think I'm at a healthy weight. Once I see the scale I tend to just ignore it and think "I'll get back on track tomorrow". Weeks of saying that to myself turns into a year. Tons of "this little bite wont hurt"... 200 bites later....👀🙄 I also have a liver condition called Auto Immune Hepatitis. All that means is that my liver is too big. Also, if I have too much fat around my liver, it can eventually turn fatal. I'm not sure exactly why a wedding dress is what is motivating me to cut back this time, but it is.
I know what my problem is. It's over eating. Plain and simple. I'm active enough, but all that doesn't mean jack if I'm over eating - especially carbs.
I've started cutting back on my carbs and tracking my calories in my Fit bit. I am hoping and crossing my fingers that I can fit into this dress. After the wedding I'm going to continue logging my consumption. I won't go back to 170 ever again..
